REAR NO. 1 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the LH and RH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

  • A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Click here.


  1. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01ISEME01

      Align the rear No. 1 seat outer belt positioning holes with the claws.

    2. Install the rear No. 1 seat outer belt with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }
    3. A01IQVY

      Install the rear No. 1 seat outer belt shoulder anchor with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }
    4. A01IPKK

      Attach the 2 claws to close the rear No. 1 seat outer belt shoulder anchor cover.

    5. Connect the connector of the deck trim side panel assembly LH.

    6. Attach the 6 clips and 7 claws to install the deck trim side panel.

    7. Install the 2 bolts.

      Connect the rear No. 1 seat outer belt floor anchor with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not allow the anchor part of the rear No. 1 seat outer belt to overlap the protruding parts of the floor panel.

  2. INSTALL LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY

    Use the same procedure for all the luggage hold belt strikers.


    1. Install the luggage hold belt striker with the bolt.

  3. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE SERVICE HOLE COVER

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure to install the deck trim side service hole cover on the other side.


    1. Attach the 4 claws and 2 guides to install the deck trim side service hole cover.

  4. INSTALL FRONT DECK SIDE TRIM COVER LH

    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the front deck side trim cover.

  5. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

    1. Align the paint mark on the rear door opening trim weatherstrip with the mark position on the vehicle and install the weatherstrip as shown in the illustration.

  6. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

    1. Attach the 9 claws and 2 clips to install the rear door scuff plate.

  7. INSTALL REAR DECK TRIM COVER

    1. Attach the 6 claws and 4 guides to install the rear deck trim cover.

  8. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)


    1. Install the rear deck floor box.

  9. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)


    1. Place the rear No. 2 seat assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. Temporarily install the 2 bolts.

    3. Pull the 2 straps and raise the 2 seatbacks.

    4. Temporarily install the 5 bolts.

    5. Tighten the bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

    6. Connect the connector under the seat.

  10. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT TRACK COVER (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)


    1. A01IOQC

      Attach the 2 guides and claw.

    2. Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.

  11. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure to install the cover on the other side.

      Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.

  12. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BELT HOLE COVER LH (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)

    1. Slide the deck trim side belt hole cover in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and attach the 2 claws and 6 guides to install it.

  13. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BELT HOLE COVER RH (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  14. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX LH

      1. Attach the 4 claws to install the deck floor box.

      w/ Rear No. 2 Seat:


      1. Attach the 3 claws and guide to install the deck floor box.

      2. Install the bolt.

  15. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX RH

      1. Attach the 2 claws and guide to install the deck floor box.

    2. A01IPFF

      w/ Rear No. 2 Seat:


      1. Attach the 2 claws and guide to install the deck floor box.

      2. Install the bolt.

  16. INSTALL LOWER DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)

    1. Attach the claw and 2 guides to install the lower deck trim side board.

  17. INSTALL LOWER DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD RH (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  18. INSTALL DECK RAIL COVER (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat, w/o Spare Tire)

    1. Attach the 2 claws and 2 guides to install the deck rail cover.

    2. Install the clip.

  19. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRAY (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat, w/ Spare Tire)

    1. Install the luggage compartment tray.

  20. INSTALL FRONT DECK FLOOR BOX (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)

    1. Install the front deck floor box with the 3 bolts.

  21. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)

    1. Attach the 4 claws and 6 clips to install the deck board.

  22. INSTALL NO. 2 DECK BOARD (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)

    1. Attach the 5 clips to install the No. 2 deck board.

  23. INSTALL NO. 1 DECK BOARD (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)

    1. Install the No. 1 deck board.

  24. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover)

    1. Install the tonneau cover.
