REAR CENTER SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Rear No. 1 Seat) REASSEMBLY

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.


  1. INSTALL REAR CENTER NO. 1 SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Temporarily install the rear center No. 1 seatback frame sub-assembly with the 4 bolts.

    2. Tighten the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE

    1. Install the No. 2 rear seat lock control cable in the order shown in the illustration.

    2. Attach the clamp of the cable end.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE

    1. Install the No. 1 rear seat lock control cable in the order shown in the illustration.

    2. Attach the clamp of the cable end.

    3. Install a new cable tie.

      Cut off the end of the cable tie as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Make sure that the end of the cable tie faces the seatback board.

  4. INSTALL CENTER SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Temporarily install the center seat cushion frame sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

    2. Using a T45 "TORX" socket wrench, temporarily install the 2 spacers with the 2 "TORX" bolts.

    3. Using a T45 "TORX" socket wrench, tighten the 2 "TORX" bolts.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

    4. Tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK WITH COVER PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Install the rear seatback with cover pad sub-assembly.

    2. A01INQ2

      Attach the 2 hooks.

  6. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 rear headrest supports.

  7. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HINGE COVER

      Attach the 3 claws to install the rear seatback hinge cover to the rear center No. 1 seat armrest bracket.

    2. A01INVP

      Install the hinge cover together with the rear center No. 1 seat armrest bracket and the 2 bushes with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

  8. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY


    1. A01IS31

      Install the rear center seat armrest assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

  9. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01ITC2

      Attach the 2 hooks.

    2. Attach the 4 claws.

    3. Attach the 4 hooks to install the rear seatback board sub-assembly.

  10. INSTALL REAR CENTER BACK LOCK CONTROL LEVER

      Connect the 2 cables in the order shown in the illustration.

    2. Attach the 2 clamps of the cable ends.

      Attach the 2 claws to install the rear center back lock control lever.

    4. Install the screw.

  11. INSTALL CENTER SEAT CUSHION COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Using hog ring pliers, install the center seat cushion cover sub-assembly to the rear center seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

      Using hog ring pliers, attach the center seat cushion cover sub-assembly to the rear center seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  12. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. Attach the 5 hooks to install the rear center seat cushion cover with pad to the center seat cushion frame sub-assembly.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, attach the center seat cushion cover with pad to the center seat cushion frame sub-assembly with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

    3. Close the upper part of the center seat cushion cover sub-assembly.

      Attach the rubber band as shown in the illustration.

    5. Pass the 2 seatback cover rubber bands through the 2 seat cushion cover rubber bands.

    6. Attach the 2 seatback cover rubber bands.

    7. Attach the 4 hooks to close the cover.

  13. INSTALL REAR SEAT LEG SIDE COVER

  14. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

    1. Pass the rear seat inner belt assembly through the rubber band of the separate type rear seat cushion cover.

    2. Install the rear seat inner belt assembly with the nut.

      Torque:

      Note

      Do not allow the anchor part of the rear seat inner belt assembly to overlap the protruding parts of the seat frame.

  15. INSTALL REAR SEAT NO. 2 LEG SIDE COVER

    2. Attach the 2 hooks labeled B to install the rear seat No. 2 leg side cover.

    3. Install the 2 screws.

  16. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)

    3. Attach the 6 clamps as shown in the illustration.

  17. INSTALL REAR SEAT TRACK COVER LH
