    INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE

    Standard voltage
    11 to 14 V

    • If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

    INSPECT COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*


    1. Use the intelligent tester to check if the LIN communication system is functioning normally.

    CHECK FOR DTC*


    1. Check for DTCs and make a note of any codes that are output (Click here).

    2. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

    3. Recheck for DTCs (Click here). Based on the DTCs output above, try to cause the output of the same ECD system, SFI system, steering lock system or engine immobiliser system DTC by reproducing the symptoms indicated by the DTC.
