CHARGING SYSTEM DTC CHECK / CLEAR

  1. CHECK DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.

    5. Check the DTC(s).

  2. CLEAR DTC

    Note:

    • Do not clear DTCs until the cause of the malfunction is determined.

    • After inspecting and repairing the charging system and clearing DTCs, be sure to recheck for DTCs and make sure that no DTCs are output.


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes / Clear.

    5. Clear the DTC(s).
