  1. CHECK INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY

    1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      Q6-14 (CB+) - Q6-13 (CGND) Ignition switch ON, shift lever in R 5.5 to 7.05 V

  2. CHECK TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY


    1. Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform.

    1. Disconnect the Q6 inner rear view mirror assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the S6 television camera assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Q6-14 (CB+) - S6-4 (CB+) Always Below 1 Ω
      Q6-13 (CGND) - S6-3 (CGND) Always Below 1 Ω
      Q6-7 (CV+) - S6-2 (CV+) Always Below 1 Ω
      Q6-6 (CV-) - S6-1 (CV-) Always Below 1 Ω
      Q6-14 (CB+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      Q6-13 (CGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      Q6-7 (CV+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      Q6-6 (CV-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
