CLEARANCE WARNING ECU INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. INSTALL CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Install the clearance warning ECU with the bolt.

  2. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 4 clips to install the air conditioning control.

  3. INSTALL CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (for Manual Air Conditioning System)


    1. A01IS8V

      Attach the 2 claws to connect the air mix damper control cable sub-assembly.

    2. A01IQKC

      Attach the 2 claws to connect the No. 2 heater control cable sub-assembly.

    3. Connect each connector.

    4. A01IN5R

      Attach the 4 clips to install the center instrument cluster finish panel assembly.

  4. INSTALL LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL


    1. except Manual Transaxle:

      Install the lower center instrument panel finish panel Click here.

    2. fort Manual Transaxle:

      Install the lower center instrument panel finish panel Click here.

  5. INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING ASSEMBLY (except Manual Transaxle)

    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 5 claws and 3 clips to install the position indicator housing.

  6. INSTALL SHIFTING HOLE COVER (for Manual Transaxle)

    *1 T Washer

    1. Attach the 5 claws and 3 clips to install the shifting hole cover.

    2. Install the knob spring.

    3. Install the T washer and twist it in the direction indicated by the arrow.

  7. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the shift lever knob and twist it in the direction indicated by the arrow.

  8. INSTALL RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (w/ Audio)


    1. for Radio Receiver Type:

      Install the radio receiver assembly with bracket Click here.

    2. for Radio and Display Type:

      Install the navigation receiver assembly with bracket Click here.

  9. INSTALL STEREO OPENING COVER WITH BRACKET (w/o Audio)

    1. Install the stereo opening cover with the 4 bolts.

  10. INSTALL CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Audio)

    1. Attach the 4 clips, 3 claws and 3 guides to install the center instrument cluster finish panel.

  11. INSTALL CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 8 claws and 4 guides to install the center instrument panel register.

  12. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH

    1. for Automatic Air Conditioning System:

      Attach the 3 clips and 2 guides to install the instrument panel finish panel end.

    2. A01INF5

      for Manual Air Conditioning System:

      Attach the 3 clips and guide to install the instrument panel finish panel end.
