The clearance warning buzzer sounds to alert the driver. The sounding pattern changes depending on the distance to an obstacle.

Note
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.
PROCEDURE
CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 1 CLEARANCE WARNING BUZZER - CLEARANCE WARNING ECU)
Disconnect the H96 No. 1 clearance warning buzzer connector.
Disconnect the H95 clearance warning ECU connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

INSPECT NO. 1 CLEARANCE WARNING BUZZER
Temporarily replace the No. 1 clearance warning buzzer with a new or normally functioning one Click here.
Check that the clearance warning buzzer sounds properly when the TOYOTA parking assist-sensor system detects an obstacle.
