NAVIGATION SYSTEM Data Signal Circuit between Stereo Jack Adapter and Extension Module

DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly sends the sound data signal or image data signal from a USB device to the navigation ECU via this circuit.

Check that the wire harness is properly installed and does not have any sharp bends, pinching or loose connections Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION ECU - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the H117 navigation ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the H104 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H117-2 (US1-) - H104-2 (UDO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      H117-3 (US1+) - H104-3 (UDO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      H117-2 (US1-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H117-3 (US1+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
