DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block assembly) cannot be customized via the navigation system vehicle settings screen.

    The main body ECU (instrument panel junction block assembly) controls the items for the following systems that are customizable via the display screen:

  • Power door lock control system

  • Lighting system (EXT)

  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Use the intelligent tester to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally Click here.

      OK
      CAN communication DTCs are not output.

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  2. CHECK POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM


    1. Check if the power door lock control system is malfunctioning Click here.

      Tech Tips

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the power door lock control system.

      OK
      No malfunctions are present in the power door lock control system.

    GO TO POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM Click here

  3. CHECK LIGHTING SYSTEM


    1. Check if the lighting system (EXT) is malfunctioning Click here.

      Tech Tips

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the lighting system (EXT).

      OK
      No malfunctions are present in the lighting system (EXT).

  4. CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS


    1. Display the "Vehicle settings" screen.

    2. Make a note of the customizable items for each main body ECU (instrument panel junction block assembly) related system.

      Tech Tips

      These items shown as customizable via the navigation system vehicle customization screen can also be changed using the intelligent tester. In a following step, the intelligent tester will be used.


      1. To match-up the items in the display with the items on the intelligent tester, check the customize parameters list for the power door lock control system related items that can be customized via the display screen Click here.

      2. To match-up the items in the display with the items on the intelligent tester, check the customize parameters list for the lighting system (EXT) related items that can be customized via the display screen Click here.

    3. Using the intelligent tester, confirm that it is possible to change the settings of the customize parameters that are available for customization via the display screen.
