DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a malfunction occurs in the amplifier antenna assembly which is connected to the radio and display receiver assembly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the antenna cord sub-assembly Click here.

    2. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    3. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again Click here.

      OK
      No DTCs are output.

    NG

    INSPECT NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY Click here

    OK

    END (ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY IS DEFECTIVE)

  2. INSPECT NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly from the amplifier antenna assembly A connector.

    2. Disconnect the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly from the antenna cord sub-assembly B connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A-3 - B-3 Always Below 1 Ω
      A-3a - B-3a Always Below 1 Ω
      A-3 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      A-3a - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPLACE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY Click here

    OK

  3. CHECK AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY NO.1


    1. Replace the amplifier antenna assembly Click here.

    2. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    3. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again Click here.

      OK
      No DTCs are output.

    NG

    REPLACE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY Click here
