MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL NO. 1 MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE BRACKET


    1. Install the No. 1 multi-media interface bracket with the 2 bolts.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE BRACKET


    1. Install the No. 2 multi-media interface bracket with the 2 bolts.

  3. INSTALL NO. 3 MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE BRACKET


    1. Install the No. 3 multi-media interface bracket with the 2 bolts.

    2. Attach the 2 clamps.

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX MOUNTING BRACKET


    1. Install the No. 1 console box mounting bracket with the 2 bolts.

    2. Attach the 2 clamps.

  5. INSTALL MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU WITH BRACKET


    1. Install the multi-media interface ECU with bracket with the 2 bolts.

    2. Connect the 2 connectors.

  6. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

    1. Attach the 4 clips to install the lower No. 1 instrument panel finish panel.

    2. Connect the connector.

    3. Install the screw <D>.

  7. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX INSERT


    1. Attach the 3 claws and guide to install the front No. 2 console box insert.

  8. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX INSERT


    1. Attach the 3 claws and guide to install the front No. 1 console box insert.

  9. INSTALL BOX PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. w/o Console Box Lid:


      1. Connect the connector.

      2. Attach the 4 claws to install the box panel.

      3. Install the 2 screws and 4 bolts.

      w/ Console Box Lid:


      1. Connect the 2 connectors.

      2. Attach the 4 claws to install the box panel.

      3. Install the 2 screws and 4 bolts.

  10. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX CARPET


    1. Install the console box carpet.

  11. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX POCKET


    1. Install the console box pocket.

  12. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Attach the 5 clips to install the parking brake hole cover.

  13. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL

    1. Connect the connectors.

    2. Attach the 2 claws, 3 clips and 3 guides to install the upper console panel.

  14. INSTALL LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (for Manual Transaxle)

    1. for Automatic Air Conditioning System:


      1. Attach the 2 claws, 4 clips and 5 guides to install the lower center instrument panel finish panel.

      2. Install the 2 screws <C>.

      for Manual Air Conditioning System:


      1. Attach the 4 clips, 2 claws and 5 guides to install the lower center instrument panel finish panel.

      2. Install the 2 screws <C>.

  15. INSTALL LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

    1. for Automatic Air Conditioning System:


      1. Attach the 2 claws, 4 clips and 5 guides to install the lower center instrument panel finish panel.

      2. Install the 3 screws <C>.

      for Manual Air Conditioning System:


      1. Attach the 4 clips, 2 claws and 5 guides to install the lower center instrument panel finish panel.

      2. Install the 3 screws <C>.

  16. INSTALL SHIFTING HOLE COVER (for Manual Transaxle)

    1. Attach the 5 claws and 3 clips to install the shifting hole cover.

    2. Install the knob spring.

    3. Install the T washer and twist it in the direction indicated by the arrow.

  17. INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING ASSEMBLY (except Manual Transaxle)

    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 5 claws and 3 clips to install the position indicator housing.

  18. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the shift lever knob and twist it in the direction indicated by the arrow.

  19. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH

    1. for Automatic Air Conditioning System:

      Attach the 3 clips, claw and 2 guides to install the instrument panel finish panel end.

      for Manual Air Conditioning System:

      Attach the 3 clips, claw and guide to install the instrument panel finish panel end.

  20. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH

      Attach the 3 clips and 2 guides to install the instrument panel finish panel end.

      for Manual Air Conditioning System:

      Attach the 3 clips and guide to install the instrument panel finish panel end.

  21. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  22. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER

      Install the battery service hole cover with the clip.

  23. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
