RADIO ANTENNA CORD INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. for Connector Type:


      1. Attach the 7 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

      3. Install the antenna cord with the bolt.

        Torque:
        8.4 N*m  { 85 kgf*cm, 73 in.*lbf }

    2. for Plug Type:


      1. Attach the 7 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

      3. Install the antenna cord with the bolt.

        Torque:
        8.4 N*m  { 85 kgf*cm, 73 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. for Connector Type:


      1. Attach the 7 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

      3. Install the antenna cord with the bolt.

        Torque:
        8.4 N*m  { 85 kgf*cm, 73 in.*lbf }

    2. for Plug Type:


      1. Attach the 7 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

      3. Install the antenna cord with the bolt.

        Torque:
        8.4 N*m  { 85 kgf*cm, 73 in.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the instrument panel safety pad Click here.

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. w/o Roof Sunshade System:


      1. Align the marking tape on the antenna cord with the roof headlining tab shown in the part of the illustration labeled A, and wrap tape around the cord to install it.

      2. Starting from the front of the vehicle, attach the antenna cord to the roof headlining with tape at the 11 marked locations labeled "a".

      3. While adjusting the slack of the antenna cord, attach the antenna cord to the roof headlining with tape at the marked location labeled "b".

      4. Set the antenna cord into the cutout of the roof headlining as shown in the part of the illustration labeled B.

    2. w/ Roof Sunshade System:


      1. Align the marking tape on the antenna cord with the roof headlining tab shown in the part of the illustration labeled A, and wrap tape around the cord to install it.

      2. Starting from the front of the vehicle, attach the antenna cord to the roof headlining with tape at the 11 marked locations labeled "a".

      3. While adjusting the slack of the antenna cord, attach the antenna cord to the roof headlining with tape at the marked location labeled "b".

      4. Set the antenna cord into the cutout of the roof headlining as shown in the part of the illustration labeled B.

  5. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the roof headlining Click here.

  6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  7. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER


    1. A01ITOM

      Install the battery service hole cover with the clip.

  8. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT


    1. Check the SRS warning light Click here.
