RADIO ANTENNA CORD REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER

      Remove the clip and battery service hole cover.

  2. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work. Click here.

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  4. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the roof headlining Click here.

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. w/o Roof Sunshade System:


      1. Remove the antenna cord from the cutout at the back of the roof headlining.

      2. Remove all the tape and the antenna cord from the roof headlining.

    2. w/ Roof Sunshade System:


      1. Remove the antenna cord from the cutout at the back of the roof headlining.

      2. Remove all the tape and the antenna cord from the roof headlining.

  6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the instrument panel safety pad Click here.

  7. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. for Connector Type:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Remove the bolt.

      3. Detach the 7 clamps and remove the antenna cord.

    2. for Plug Type:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Remove the bolt.

      3. Detach the 7 clamps and remove the antenna cord.

  8. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. for Connector Type:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Remove the bolt.

      3. Detach the 7 clamps and remove the antenna cord.

    2. for Plug Type:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Remove the bolt.

      3. Detach the 7 clamps and remove the antenna cord.
