REAR BUMPER REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 FLOOR UNDER COVER


    1. A01ISJG

      Remove the 5 clips and No. 1 floor under cover.

  2. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER


    1. A01IMZC

      Remove the screw.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    2. Put protective tape around the rear bumper cover.

    3. Remove the 5 clips and 2 bolts.

    4. Detach the 10 claws.

    5. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:

      Disconnect the No. 4 floor wire connector.

    6. Remove the rear bumper cover.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

    1. Remove the 8 bolts and rear bumper reinforcement.

  4. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Remove the 3 bolts and rear bumper arm.

  5. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

    *1 Protective Tape

    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Using a clip remover, detach the 3 claws and remove the rear bumper side retainer.

      Note

      Tape the clip remover tip before use.

  7. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  8. REMOVE REAR UPPER BUMPER RETAINER LH

    *1 Protective Tape

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Using a clip remover, detach the 2 claws and remove the rear upper bumper retainer.

      Note

      Tape the clip remover tip before use.

  9. REMOVE REAR UPPER BUMPER RETAINER RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH

    1. Remove the grommet, nut and 3 clips.

    2. Remove the rear bumper side seal.

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH

    1. Remove the grommet, nut and 2 clips.

    2. Remove the rear bumper side seal.

  12. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH

    A01IOHP

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the reflex reflector assembly.

  13. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
