FRONT BUMPER REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING (w/ Plated Moulding)


    1. Attach the 9 claws to install the lower radiator grille moulding.

  2. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING (w/ Plated Moulding)


    1. Attach the 9 claws to install the lower radiator grille moulding.

  3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH


    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the front bumper hole cover RH.

  4. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. Attach the 22 claws to install the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

  5. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM


    1. Attach the 2 claws and 2 guides to install the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.

  6. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. Attach the 12 claws to install the radiator grille.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  7. INSTALL CENTER RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING LH


    1. Attach the claw to install the center radiator grille moulding LH.

  8. INSTALL CENTER RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  9. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE SIDE MOULDING LH


    1. Attach the 9 claws to install the radiator grille side moulding LH.

  10. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE SIDE MOULDING RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  11. INSTALL UPPER FRONT BUMPER RETAINER


    1. Install the upper front bumper retainer with the 4 clips.

  12. INSTALL FRONT HOOD TO END PANEL SEAL

    Tech Tips

    When installing the front hood to end panel seal, heat the front bumper surface using a heat light.

    Standard
    Item Temperature
    Front Bumper Cover 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

    Note

    Do not heat the front bumper cover excessively.


    1. Clean the front bumper surface cover.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the front bumper cover surface.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the front bumper cover surface.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Install a new front hood to end panel seal.


      1. Remove the peeling paper from the face of a new front hood to end panel seal.

        Tech Tips

        After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      2. Install the front hood to end panel seal.

    3. Install the 4 clips.

  13. INSTALL FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET LH (w/ Bracket)


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the fog light mounting bracket LH.

  14. INSTALL FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET RH (w/ Bracket)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  15. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER LH


    1. Attach the 5 claws to install the fog light cover LH.

  16. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  17. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Attach the 2 guides to install the fog light assembly LH.

    2. Install the screw.

  18. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

  19. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

      Attach the 2 claws to install the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly LH.

    2. A01ISQQ

      Install the 2 screws.

  20. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  21. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)


    1. Extend the type 1 headlight washer nozzle sub-assembly LH by hand.

      Attach the claw to install the type 1 headlight washer nozzle sub-assembly LH.

  22. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  23. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)


    1. Attach the 6 clamps to install the hose to the front bumper.

    2. Connect the headlight washer hose to the headlight washer actuator sub-assemblies.

  24. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips


    • Align the slit of the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer with the protrusion of the front bumper cover and install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer.

    • Pay attention to the protrusions of the front bumper cover as the orientation of the retainer changes depending on the installation position.

    • Use the same procedure for all No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainers.

      Attach the 4 claws to install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer to the front bumper cover.

      Note

      Do not damage the bumper cover with the protrusion when installing the retainer.

  25. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all No. 1 ultrasonic sensors.

      Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

  26. INSTALL NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. Attach the 6 clamps to install the No. 4 engine room wire.

    2. Connect the 4 connectors.
