FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER


    1. A01ITOM

      Remove the clip and battery service hole cover.

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER


    1. A01IRWC

      Remove the 5 clips and radiator support opening cover.

  3. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR

    1. Remove the 2 radiator grille protectors.

  4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

    1. Using a screwdriver, remove the pin hold clip.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    2. Remove the screw.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    3. Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.

    4. Remove the bolt, 2 clips and 6 screws.

    5. Remove the front bumper cover.


      1. Detach the 6 claws.

      2. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

        Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose and then drain the washer fluid.

        Tech Tips

        Use a container to collect the washer fluid.

      3. w/ Fog Light:

        Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.

      4. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:

        Disconnect the No. 4 engine room wire connector.

      5. Remove the front bumper cover.

  5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

    1. Remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Detach the 5 clamps.

    2. Remove the 8 bolts and front bumper reinforcement.

  7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

    *1 Protective Tape

    1. Remove the screw and bolt.

    2. Using a clip remover, detach the 2 claws and remove the front bumper side retainer.

      Note

      Tape the clip remover tip before use.

  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  9. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH

    1. Remove the 3 screws and front wheel opening extension pad.

  10. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
