RELAY ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. REMOVE HEADLIGHT RELAY

    A01IUO6

    1. Remove the headlight relay from the engine room relay box.

  2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT RELAY

    A01IRQEE01

    1. Check the resistance.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 - 5 Battery voltage not applied to terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
        Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight relay.

  3. INSTALL HEADLIGHT RELAY


    1. Install the headlight relay to the engine room relay box.

  4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT DIMMER RELAY (for Halogen Headlight)

    A01ISAL

    1. Remove the headlight dimmer relay from the engine room relay box.

  5. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER RELAY (for Halogen Headlight)

    A01IRQEE01

    1. Check the resistance.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 - 5 Battery voltage not applied to terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
        Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight dimmer relay.

  6. INSTALL HEADLIGHT DIMMER RELAY (for Halogen Headlight)


    1. Install the headlight dimmer relay to the engine room relay box.

  7. REMOVE HEADLIGHT DIMMER RELAY (for HID Headlight)

    A01ISZ6

    1. Remove the headlight dimmer relay from the engine room relay box.

  8. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER RELAY (for HID Headlight)

    A01IUI6E01

    1. Check the resistance.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 - 5 Battery voltage not applied to terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
        Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight dimmer relay.

  9. INSTALL HEADLIGHT DIMMER RELAY (for HID Headlight)


    1. Install the headlight dimmer relay to the engine room relay box.

  10. REMOVE FOG LIGHT RELAY


    1. for Automatic Air Conditioning System:

      Remove the air conditioning control assembly Click here.

    2. for Manual Air Conditioning System:

      Remove the air conditioning control assembly Click here.

    3. A01IP45

      Remove the fog light relay from the center relay box.

  11. INSPECT FOG LIGHT RELAY

    A01IUI6E01

    1. Check the resistance.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 - 5 Battery voltage not applied to terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
        Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the fog light relay.

  12. INSTALL FOG LIGHT RELAY


    1. Install the fog light relay to the center relay box.

    2. for Automatic Air Conditioning System:

      Install the air conditioning control assembly Click here.

    3. for Manual Air Conditioning System:

      Install the air conditioning control assembly Click here.

  13. REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT RELAY


    1. for Automatic Air Conditioning System:

      Remove the air conditioning control assembly Click here.

    2. for Manual Air Conditioning System:

      Remove the air conditioning control assembly Click here.

    3. A01ITD3

      Remove the rear fog light relay from the center relay box.

  14. INSPECT REAR FOG LIGHT RELAY

    A01IUI6E01

    1. Check the resistance.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 - 5 Battery voltage not applied to terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
        Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear fog light relay.

  15. INSTALL REAR FOG LIGHT RELAY


    1. Install the rear fog light relay to the center relay box.

    2. for Automatic Air Conditioning System:

      Install the air conditioning control assembly Click here.

    3. for Manual Air Conditioning System:

      Install the air conditioning control assembly Click here.

  16. RUNNING DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY


    1. for Automatic Air Conditioning System:

      Remove the air conditioning control assembly Click here.

    2. for Manual Air Conditioning System:

      Remove the air conditioning control assembly Click here.

    3. A01ITJU

      Remove the daytime running light relay from the center relay box.

  17. INSPECT DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY

    A01IUI6E01

    1. Check the resistance.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 - 5 Battery voltage not applied to terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
        Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the daytime running light relay.

  18. INSTALL DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY


    1. Install the daytime running light relay to the center relay box.

    2. for Automatic Air Conditioning System:

      Install the air conditioning control assembly Click here.

    3. for Manual Air Conditioning System:

      Install the air conditioning control assembly Click here.
