RELAY ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. REMOVE HEADLIGHT RELAY


    1. A01IRVC

      Remove the headlight relay from the engine room relay box.

  2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT RELAY


    1. A01IUBFE05

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      3 - 5 Battery voltage not applied to terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
      Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight relay.

  3. INSTALL HEADLIGHT RELAY


    1. Install the headlight relay to the engine room relay box.

  4. REMOVE FOG LIGHT RELAY

      Remove the air conditioning control assembly (for Manual Air Conditioning System) Click here.

    2. Remove the air conditioning control assembly (for Automatic Air Conditioning System) Click here.

    3. Remove the fog light relay from the No. 4 relay box.

  5. INSPECT FOG LIGHT RELAY


    1. A01IN8WE01

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      3 - 5 Battery voltage not applied to terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
      Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the fog light relay.

  6. INSTALL FOG LIGHT RELAY


    1. Install the fog light relay to the No. 4 relay box.

    2. Install the air conditioning control assembly (for Manual Air Conditioning System) Click here.

    3. Install the air conditioning control assembly (for Automatic Air Conditioning System) Click here.

  7. REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT RELAY


    1. A01IO4Y

      Remove the air conditioning control assembly (for Manual Air Conditioning System) Click here.

    2. Remove the air conditioning control assembly (for Automatic Air Conditioning System) Click here.

    3. Remove the fog light relay from the No. 3 relay box.

  8. INSPECT REAR FOG LIGHT RELAY


    1. A01IN8WE01

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      3 - 5 Battery voltage not applied to terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
      Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear fog light relay.

  9. INSTALL REAR FOG LIGHT RELAY


    1. Install the fog light relay to the No. 3 relay box.

    2. Install the air conditioning control assembly (for Manual Air Conditioning System) Click here.

    3. Install the air conditioning control assembly (for Automatic Air Conditioning System) Click here.
