DESCRIPTION

The headlight leveling ECU actuates the headlight leveling motors according to the vehicle conditions.

   PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR)

   
   

   1. Using the intelligent tester, perform the Active Test (Click here).

   CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY - HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY)

   1. Disconnect the A49 headlight leveling ECU connector.

   2. Disconnect the A58*1 or A62*2 headlight connector.

      
      

      • *1: for LH

      • *2: for RH

   3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   CHECK HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Temporarily replace the headlight leveling ECU assembly with a new or normally functioning one (Click herefor LHD,Click herefor RHD).

   2. Perform the Active Test of the leveling motors (Click here).
