OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR REMOVAL

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL LH


    1. A01IQLV

      Using moulding remover A, detach the 3 claws and remove the inside handle bezel.

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM MOULDING LH

      Using moulding remover A, detach the 8 claws and remove the front door trim moulding.

  3. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL (for Driver Side)

      Using moulding remover A, detach the clip and 7 claws and remove the power window regulator master switch assembly with front door armrest base panel.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

  4. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL (for Front Passenger Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the driver side.

  5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01IR1B

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Remove the 9 clips.

    3. w/ Courtesy Light:


      1. Disconnect the courtesy light connector.

      *1 Reference Boss

      Pull out the front door trim board in the direction indicated by the arrow.

    5. A01IUDS

      Disconnect the 2 cables from the inside handle.

  6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01IUHM

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the inside handle sub-assembly from the door trim board.

  7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP LH


    1. A01IUMH

      Detach the 5 claws and remove the weatherstrip.

  8. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR INSTALL HOLE COVER LH


    1. A01ISLX

      Using moulding remover D, detach the 3 claws and remove the outer mirror install hole cover.

  9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH


    1. A01IOWT

      Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the service hole cover.

      Tech Tips

      Remove the remaining tape on the door.

  10. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the clamp.

    3. Remove the 3 bolts, detach the claw and remove the outer rear view mirror assembly LH.
