CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER (for RHD) INSTALLATION

    INSTALL CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the clutch master cylinder bracket.

    2. A01IOPC

      Install the clutch master cylinder assembly with the 2 nuts.

      18 N*m 178 kgf*cm 13 ft.*lbf
    3. A01IR3SE02

      Apply MP grease to the contact surface of the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis with hole pin.

      *1 MP grease
    4. Connect the clevis to the clutch pedal sub-assembly with the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis with hole pin.

      Tip:

      Install the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis with hole pin from the left side of the vehicle.

    5. Install a new clip to the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis with hole pin.

    CONNECT CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER TO FLEXIBLE HOSE TUBE


    1. A01IOVP

      Using a union nut wrench, connect the clutch master cylinder to flexible hose tube.

      15 N*m 155 kgf*cm 11 ft.*lbf
      Note:

      Use the formula to calculate special torque values for situations where a union nut wrench is combined with a torque wrench (Click here).

  3. Click here

    INSTALL CLUTCH RESERVOIR TUBE


    1. Connect the clutch reservoir tube to the clutch master cylinder assembly with the clip.

  4. Click here

    INSTALL BRAKE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. Install the brake booster assembly (Click here).

  5. Click here

    BLEED CLUTCH LINE


    1. for 1AD-FTV:

      Bleed the clutch line (Click here).

    2. for 2AD-FHV:

      Bleed the clutch line (Click here).

    3. for 1ZR-FAE:

      Bleed the clutch line (Click here).

    4. for 2ZR-FAE:

      Bleed the clutch line (Click here).

  6. Click here

    INSPECT FLUID LEVEL


    1. A01INQ3

      Check the fluid level.

      If the brake fluid level is lower than the MIN line, check for leaks and inspect the disc brake pads. If necessary, refill the reservoir with brake fluid to the MAX line after repair or replacement.

      SAE J1704 or FMVSS No. 116 DOT 4

    INSPECT FOR FLUID LEAK

    Tip:

    Check for leaks in the clutch system.

    INSPECT AND ADJUST CLUTCH PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Inspect and adjust the clutch pedal sub-assembly (Click here).

  9. Click here

    INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the lower No. 1 instrument panel airbag assembly (Click here).
