EXHAUST PIPE REMOVAL

CAUTION:


  • Wear protective gloves and protective glasses when removing the exhaust pipe.

  • The exhaust pipe is extremely hot immediately after the engine has stopped.

  • Confirm that the exhaust pipe has cooled down before removing it.


  1. REMOVE TAILPIPE ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.

    2. Disconnect the tailpipe from the 2 exhaust pipe supports.

    3. Remove the gasket.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER

      Remove the 4 clips and No. 2 engine under cover.

  3. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CENTER BRACE

      Remove the 4 bolts and front floor center brace.

  4. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR

      Remove the harness clamp.

    2. A01IT7PE02

      Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector and clamp.

    3. Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor.

  5. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.

    2. Disconnect the front exhaust pipe from the 3 exhaust pipe supports.

    3. Remove the gasket.
