DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

  1. CHECK DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR

    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / Filtered Pressure Value at Particle Filter Upstream (EU5).

    5. Disconnect the No. 1 vacuum transmitting hose from the differential pressure sensor.

    7. Check the pressure value of the differential pressure sensor.

      Standard pressure
Approximately the same pressure as the applied pressure is indicated on the GTS.

      Tech Tips

Standard atmospheric pressure is 101 kPa. For every 100 m increase in altitude, pressure drops by 1 kPa. Varies by weather.

If the result is not as specified, check the sensor circuit Click here.

    8. Connect the No. 1 vacuum transmitting hose to the differential pressure sensor.
