FRONT CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL FRONT CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL


    1. Apply MP grease to the lip of a new oil seal.

      Note

      Keep the lip free of foreign objects.

    2. A01IQBGE01

      Using SST and a hammer, tap in the oil seal as shown in the illustration.

      SST
      09223-50010
      Standard depth
      0 to 0.6 mm (0 to 0.0236 in.)

      Note


      • Do not tap the oil seal at an angle.

      • Wipe off extra grease on the crankshaft.

  2. INSTALL CRANKSHAFT PULLEY


    1. Align the keyway of the pulley with the key located on the crankshaft, then slide the pulley into place to install it.

      Using SST, install a new pulley bolt.

      09330-00021
      Torque:
      300 N*m  { 3059 kgf*cm, 221 ft.*lbf }
