POWER STEERING SYSTEM DTC CHECK / CLEAR

  1. CHECK DTC


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    4. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / EMPS / DTC.

    6. Read the DTCs following the display on the intelligent tester.

    7. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart for DTC information (Click here).

  2. CLEAR DTC


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    4. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / EMPS / DTC.

    6. Clear the DTCs by following the display on the intelligent tester.

    7. Turn the ignition switch off.

    8. Disconnect the intelligent tester from the DLC3.
