VACUUM PUMP (for 1AD-FTV, 2AD-FHV) ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. OPERATION CHECK


    1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum pump.

    2. A01IT54E01

      Connect the hose of a vacuum gauge to the vacuum pump.

    3. Start the engine and warm it up for more than 2 minutes.

    4. With the engine idling, check the vacuum of the vacuum pump.

      Standard pressure
      Higher than 87 kPa (650 mmHg, 25.6 in.Hg)

      Tech Tips

      It is necessary to replace the vacuum pump every 200000 km (124000 miles).

    5. Remove the vacuum gauge from the vacuum pump.

    6. Connect the vacuum hose to the vacuum pump.
