DESCRIPTION
The skid control ECU is connected to the combination meter via CAN communication.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
When replacing the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly), perform the engine variant learning (Click here).
PROCEDURE
CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Check if a CAN communication system DTC is output (Click here).

CHECK ABS WARNING LIGHT
Disconnect the skid control ECU connector.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Check that the ABS warning light comes on.

INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
Perform the Active Test of the combination meter to check the ABS warning light using the intelligent tester (Click here).
