DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) cannot be customized via the audio and visual system vehicle settings screen.

The certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) controls the entry and start related items that are customizable via the display screen:

    CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Use the intelligent tester to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally (Click here).

      OK
      CAN communication DTCs are not output.

  2. Click here

    CHECK ENTRY AND START SYSTEM (for Entry Function)


    1. Check if the entry and start system (for Entry Function) is malfunctioning (Click here).

      Tip:

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the entry and start system (for Entry Function).

      OK
      No malfunctions are present in the entry and start system (for Entry Function).

  3. Click here

    CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS


    1. Display the "Vehicle settings" screen.

    2. Make a note of the customizable items for each certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) related system.

      Tip:

      These items shown as customizable via the audio and visual system vehicle settings screen can also be changed using the intelligent tester. In a following step, the intelligent tester will be used.


      1. To match-up the items in the radio and display receiver assembly with the items on the intelligent tester, check the customize parameters list for the entry and start system (for Entry Function) related items that can be customized via the display screen (Click here).

    3. Using the intelligent tester, confirm that it is possible to change the settings of the customize parameters that are available for customization via the display screen.

      The items available for customization via the display screen can be customized successfully using the intelligent tester.
