Although the part name refers to the No. 1 crank position sensor, this procedure is for the camshaft position sensor.


  1. INSPECT NO. 1 CRANK POSITION SENSOR


    1. A01IR35E05

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Temperature Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Cold 835 to 1400 Ω
      Hot 1060 to 1645 Ω

      Note

      In the table above, the terms "Cold" and "Hot" refer to the temperature of the sensor. "Cold" means approximately -10 to 50°C (14 to 122°F). "Hot" means approximately 50 to 100°C (122 to 212°F).

      If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.
