BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH PROTECTOR


    1. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Coat the installation surface on the back door outside garnish with primer.

    3. Remove the release paper from a new back door outside garnish protector.

      Tech Tips

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      Install a new back door outside garnish protector to the back door outside garnish as shown in the illustration.

  2. INSTALL BACK DOOR GARNISH SIDE PROTECTOR LH


    1. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Remove the release paper from a new back door outside garnish protector.

      Tech Tips

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      Install a new back door garnish side protector LH to the back door outside garnish as shown in the illustration.

  3. INSTALL BACK DOOR GARNISH SIDE PROTECTOR RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. INSTALL BACK DOOR OPENER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Install the back door opener switch assembly.

  5. INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install 2 bolts.

    2. Install 2 stud bolts.

    3. Install 2 new back door outside garnish clips and 4 new gaskets on the back door outside garnish subassembly.

      Engage the 2 clips to install the back door outside garnish sub-assembly.

    5. Install the 4 nuts.

      Torque:
      4.9 N*m  { 50 kgf*cm, 43 in.*lbf }

    6. Connect each connector.

  6. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY

      Engage the 2 claws and 16 clips to install the back door trim panel assembly.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  7. INSTALL BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH

      Engage the 5 claws to install the back door service hole cover LH.

  8. INSTALL BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER RH

      Engage the 5 claws to install the back door service hole cover RH.

  9. INSTALL BACK DOOR UPPER TRIM COVER LH


    1. A01NLU1

      Engage the 2 claws to install the back door upper trim cover LH.

  10. INSTALL BACK DOOR UPPER TRIM COVER RH

      Engage the 2 claws to install the back door upper trim cover RH.

  11. INSTALL NO. 2 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the connector.

      Engage the claw to install the No. 2 room light assembly.

  12. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK COVER


    1. A01NLEF

      Engage the 4 claws to install the back door lock cover.

  13. INSTALL BACK DOOR FINISH COVER LH (w/o Power Back Door)

      Engage the 6 claws to install the back door finish cover LH.

  14. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM BASE (w/ Power Back Door)

      Engage the 4 claws to install the back door trim base.

  15. INSTALL BACK DOOR FINISH COVER RH (w/o Power Back Door)

      Engage the 6 claws to install the back door finish cover RH.

  16. INSTALL DOOR PULL HANDLE WITH SWITCH (w/ Power Back Door)


    1. Connect the connector.

      Engage the 6 claws to install the door pull handle with switch.

  17. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover)
