FRONT BUMPER (for Standard) REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. A01NM64

      Engage the 2 claws to install the front bumper side retainer LH.

    2. Install the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }
    3. A01NLRV

      Engage the clip as shown in the illustration.

  2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT


    1. A01NM6G

      Install the front bumper reinforcement with the 6 bolts.

      Torque:
      35 N*m  { 357 kgf*cm, 26 ft.*lbf }

    2. Engage the 3 clamps.

  4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER LH


    1. A01NLQ1

      Engage the guide to install the front bumper energy absorber LH.

  5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

      Engage the 2 guides to install the front bumper energy absorber.

  7. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A01NMBE

      Engage the 16 claws to install the lower No. 2 radiator grille.

  8. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE

      Engage the 14 claws and 2 guides to install the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

  9. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER GARNISH LH


    1. A01NK0M

      Engage the 3 claws to install the front bumper garnish LH.

    2. Install the screw and 3 front bumper side retainers.

  10. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER GARNISH RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  11. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER LH

      Engage the 3 claws to install the fog light cover LH.

  12. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  13. INSTALL FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET LH

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the fog light mounting bracket LH with the 3 screws.

  14. INSTALL FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  15. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Engage the 10 claws.

    2. Install the radiator grille assembly with the 6 screws.

    3. w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System:


      1. Engage the 2 clamps to connect the sensor wire.

    4. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:


      1. Engage the 2 clamps to connect the headlight cleaner hose.

  16. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH


    1. A01NKRG

      Engage the 2 claws to install the front bumper hole cover LH to the center radiator grille moulding LH.

    3. Engage the 5 claws to install the front bumper hole cover LH with the center radiator grille moulding LH.

  17. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH

  18. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER


    1. A01NJIP

      Engage the claws to install the 2 front fender liner retainers.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  19. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (for Short Type)


    1. A01NL7G

      Engage the 4 claws.

    2. Install the front bumper extension mounting bracket with the 2 screws.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 77 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

  20. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (for Long Type)


    1. A01NKWQ

      Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Install the front bumper extension mounting bracket with the 2 screws.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 77 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

  21. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Engage the 2 guides to temporarily install the fog light assembly.

    2. Install the fog light assembly with the screw.

  22. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  23. INSTALL SENSOR WIRE (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. Engage the 9 clamps to install the sensor wire.

  24. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer to the front bumper assembly.

      Note


      • Do not damage the front bumper with the protrusion when installing the retainer.

      • Securely install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer so that there are no gaps between the retainer and surface of the front bumper.

      Tech Tips

      When installing the retainer, align the keyhole and snap as shown in the illustration.

  25. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor to the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer.

      Note

      Push the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer from the outside of the bumper when there is a gap between the retainer and the bumper surface. In this case, do not push on the ultrasonic sensor.

    1. Engage the 5 clamps to install the headlight cleaner hose.

    1. Engage the guide.

    2. While pushing the tab shown by arrow (a), engage the claw as shown in the illustration.
