FRONT BUMPER (for Sport Package) DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)


    1. A01NIWB

      Extend the headlight washer nozzle sub-assembly LH.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the headlight washer nozzle sub-assembly LH.

  2. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

      Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose.

    2. Remove the headlight cleaner clamp.

      Pull down the headlight cleaner actuator clamp.

    4. While pushing the tab shown by arrow (a), disengage the claw and guide to remove the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

  4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)


    1. Disengage the 5 clamps and remove the headlight cleaner hose.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      2. Disengage the clamp.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer from the front bumper assembly.

  8. REMOVE SENSOR WIRE (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. Disengage the 9 clamps and remove the sensor wire.

  9. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  10. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (for Short Type)

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

  12. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (for Long Type)

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

  13. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER

      Disengage the claws and remove the 2 front fender liner retainers.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  14. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH

      Disengage the claw (A) as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the 3 claws (B).

    3. Disengage the hook.

      Disengage the guide and remove the front bumper hole cover LH with the center radiator grille moulding LH.

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front bumper hole cover LH from the center radiator grille moulding LH.

  15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  16. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY

      w/ Headlight Cleaner System:


      1. Disengage the 2 clamps and disconnect the headlight cleaner hose.

    2. A01NI8F

      w/ LEXUS Parking Assist sensor System:


      1. Disengage the 2 clamps and disconnect the sensor wire.

    3. Remove the 6 screws.

    4. Disengage the 10 claws and remove the radiator grille assembly.

  17. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH


    1. A01NJX8

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the fog light cover LH with the fog light mounting bracket LH.

      Disengage the 3 claws and remove the fog light cover LH from the fog light mounting bracket LH.

  18. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  19. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER GUARD

      Remove the 2 screws and 2 front bumper side retainers.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

      Remove the 7 front bumper side retainers.

    3. Disengage the 10 claws and remove the front bumper guard.

  20. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE (w/ Front Fender Name Plate)


    1. Remove the 2 front bumper side retainers.

    2. Disengage the 11 claws and remove the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

  21. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE (w/o Front Fender Name Plate)


    1. Remove the 2 front bumper side retainers.

    2. Disengage the 11 claws and remove the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

  22. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER (for Separate Type)

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  23. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER (except Separate Type)

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  24. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER LH (for Separate Type)

      Disengage the guide and remove the front bumper energy absorber LH.

  25. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER RH (for Separate Type)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  26. REMOVE LOWER AIR DUCT

      Remove the 2 bolts and 3 clips.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the lower air duct.

  27. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

      Disengage the 3 clamps.

    2. Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement.

  28. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

      Disengage the clip as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01NM64

      Remove the bolt.

    3. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front bumper side retainer LH.

  29. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH
