AFS ECU REMOVAL


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery negative (-) terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery negative (-) terminal notices before proceeding with work Click here

  2. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX


    1. A01NIBL

      Remove the 3 clips and the rear deck floor box.

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. A01NIAE

      Remove the 2 screws <D>.

    2. A01NJMH

      Disengage the claw and 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disconnect each connector.

    4. Disengage each clamp and remove the No. 1 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. A01NL7O

      Remove the 2 screws <D>.

    2. A01NKQB

      Disengage the claw and 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disconnect each connector.

    4. Disengage each clamp and remove the No. 1 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE AFS ECU (for LHD)


    1. A01NNEU

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the nut.

    3. Disengage the guide and remove the AFS ECU.

  7. REMOVE AFS ECU (for RHD)


    1. A01NLQD

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the nut.

    3. Disengage the guide and remove the AFS ECU.
