HAZARD WARNING SWITCH REMOVAL


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery negative (-) terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery negative (-) terminal notices before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX (w/ Air Suspension)

    w/ Navigation System: Click here

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Air Suspension)

    w/ Navigation System:

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Turn the shift lever knob sub-assembly counterclockwise and remove the shift lever knob sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Move the shift lever to N.

    2. Pull the upper console panel sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage the 4 claws and 4 clips.

    3. w/o Seat Heater System:


      1. Disconnect the connector from the console box hole cover.

      w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Disengage the 6 claws.

      2. Disconnect the connector and remove the seat heater switch with console box hole cover.

      Pull the upper console panel sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage the 3 claws and 3 clips.

    6. Disconnect each connector.

    7. Disengage the clamp and remove the upper console panel sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH LH

      Using moulding remover B, disengage the 6 clips and remove the instrument panel garnish LH as shown in the illustration.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE

      Push the No. 1 switch hole base in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage the 4 claws and 2 guides.

    2. Disconnect each connector and remove the No. 1 switch hole base.

  8. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 claws and open the cover as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01NLP9

      Remove the 2 screws <D>.

    3. Disengage the 8 clips and 2 guides.

    4. Disconnect each connector and remove the lower instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly.

  9. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

      Pull the instrument panel finish panel in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage the claw, 2 clips and 2 guides, and remove the instrument panel finish panel.

  10. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

      Pull the lower instrument panel finish panel in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage the 7 clips and remove the lower instrument panel finish panel.

  11. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH REGISTER (w/o Navigation System)

    Note


    • The 4 bolts of the radio receiver assembly with register are installed though the service holes at the bottom in the instrument panel. Make sure to check all of them.

    • If the radio receiver assembly with register is pulled without removing the 4 bolts, it may result in damage to the radio receiver assembly with register.

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Disengage the 7 clips.

    3. Disconnect each connector and remove the radio receiver assembly with register.

  12. REMOVE MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH REGISTER (w/ Navigation System)

    Note


    • The 4 bolts of the multi-media module receiver assembly with register are installed though the service holes at the bottom in the instrument panel. Make sure to check all of them.

    • If the multi-media module receiver assembly with register is pulled without removing the 4 bolts, it may result in damage to the multi-media module receiver assembly with register.

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Disengage the 7 clips.

    3. Disconnect each connector and remove the multimedia module receiver assembly with register.

  13. REMOVE HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

      Disengage the clamp.

    2. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the hazard warning signal switch assembly.

  14. REMOVE HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. w/o Navigation System:


      1. A01NJBH

        Disengage the 2 clamps.

      2. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the hazard warning signal switch assembly.

    2. w/ Navigation System:


      1. A01NMAZ

        Disengage the clamp.

      2. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the hazard warning signal switch assembly.
