OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. Remove the front seat assembly Click here.

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect each connector and clamp.

    2. A01NK45

      Remove the nut and the front seat inner belt assembly.

  3. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  4. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01NMOV

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY


    1. A01NIX4

      Disengage the 2 hooks and remove the 2 rubber bands of the front seatback board from the front seat frame.

    2. A01NIC5

      Remove the 5 screws.

    3. Disengage the claw and guide.

    4. Disconnect the connector from the front power seat lumbar switch.

    5. w/ Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function:


      1. A01NMZJ

        Disengage the 2 clamps.

      2. Disconnect the connector from the seat variable cushion switch.

    6. Remove the front seat cushion shield assembly.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD


    1. A01NI6K

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the claw.

    3. A01NJ52

      Separate the guide and remove the front seat cushion inner shield as shown in the illustration.

  7. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH


    1. A01NIIB

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Disengage the guide.

    3. A01NMNG

      Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the power seat switch.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (w/o Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function)


    1. A01NK7T

      Disengage the 6 hooks.

    2. w/o Climate Control Seat System:


      1. A01NI60

        Disengage the 5 clamps.

    3. w/ Climate Control Seat System:


      1. A01NN2L

        Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      2. Disengage the 6 clamps.

    4. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

      for Front Passenger Side:


      1. A01NK6X

        Disengage the 2 clamps and separate the occupant detection sensor connector.

    5. Disengage each hook and remove the front seat cushion cover with pad.

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (w/ Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function)

      Disengage the 6 hooks.

    2. w/o Climate Control Seat System:


      1. A01NI60

        Disengage the 5 clamps.

    3. w/ Climate Control Seat System:


      1. A01NN2L

        Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      2. Disengage the 6 clamps.

    4. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

    5. for Front Passenger Side:


      1. A01NK6X

        Disengage the 2 clamps and separate the occupant detection sensor connector.

    6. Disengage each hook.

    7. A01NMDO

      Disengage the 4 hooks.

    8. A01NJUT

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

    9. Remove the front seat cushion cover with pad.

  10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD (w/o Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function)


    1. A01NMWB

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

    2. A01NL60

      Remove the 19 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion pad from the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD (w/ Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function)


    1. A01NMWB

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

    2. A01NIZ7

      Remove the 15 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion pad from the separate type front seat cushion cover.
