DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU assembly receives vehicle stability signals from the yaw rate sensor and sends the signals to the driving support ECU and ECM. If the skid control ECU assembly detects that the yaw rate sensor is malfunctioning, the skid control ECU assembly sends a malfunction signal to the driving support ECU, and the driving support ECU stores DTC C1A46. Also, when DTC C1A46 is stored, the skid control ECU assembly stores DTC C1234 at the same time.

This circuit uses CAN communication. Therefore, be sure to check that the CAN communication system is normal before performing inspection (Click here).

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    CHECK DTC OUTPUT (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM)


    1. Check DTCs for electronically controlled brake system (Click here).

      OK
      DTC C1234 is not output.

  2. Click here

    REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the skid control ECU assembly (Click here).


  3. Click here

    CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM)


    1. Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: Body / Pre-Crash 2 / DTC.

    2. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

    3. Drive the vehicle.

    4. Recheck for DTCs.

      OK
      DTC C1A46 is not output.
