ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY


  2. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)


    1. A01NKRX

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly.

  3. REMOVE LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. A01NJR2

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and low pitched horn assembly.

  4. REMOVE HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. A01NIXM

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and high pitched horn assembly.

  5. REMOVE SMOG VENTILATION SENSOR (for RHD)

  6. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER


    1. A01NMRC

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Disengage the clamp and remove the hood lock control cable cover.

  7. REMOVE ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH (HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY)


    1. A01NJ7B

      Using a screwdriver, remove the hood lock nut cap.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. A01NMHK

      Remove the 2 bolts and hood lock nut.

    3. A01NIJC

      Disconnect the connector.

    4. Disconnect the hood lock control cable and remove the hood lock assembly.
