HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the 3 bushings to the height control compressor assembly.

    2. A01NLBQ

      Install the bracket to the height control compressor assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.9 N*m  { 60 kgf*cm, 52 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL VALVE HARNESS ASSEMBLY


    1. Push the connector into the housing until a clicking sound is heard.

    2. Engage the 3 clamps.

    3. A01NIRC

      Connect the height control valve harness assembly.

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE


    1. Coat a new O-ring with MP grease No. 2.

    2. Install the new O-ring to the No. 2 height control tube.

    3. A01NIQF

      Connect the No. 2 height control tube to the height control compressor assembly with the holder.

      Tech Tips

    4. Install the 3 clamps to the No. 2 height control tube.

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 HEIGHT CONTROL HOSE


    1. A01NNE6

      Install the No. 1 height control hose to the height control compressor assembly with the clip.

  5. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL FILTER


    1. A01NIJ7

      Install the height control filter to the bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      6.4 N*m  { 65 kgf*cm, 57 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the 2 height control hoses to the height control filter with the 2 clips.

  6. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR BRACKET


    1. A01NMOT

      Install the height control compressor bracket to the body with the 2 bolts and nut.

      Torque:
      19 N*m  { 195 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

    2. Engage the wire harness clamp to the bracket.

  7. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR WITH BRACKET


    1. A01NMZ5

      Install the height control compressor with bracket with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      19 N*m  { 195 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }
    2. A01NJSS

      Engage the wire harness clamp to the bracket.

    3. A01NI4U

      Connect the 2 connectors.

    4. Coat a new O-ring with MP grease No. 2.

    5. Install the O-ring to the No. 2 height control tube.

    6. A01NM08

      Connect the No. 2 height control tube to the height control way with the holder.

  8. INSTALL CAP GROMMET


    1. A01NJQA

      Install a new cap grommet to the No. 1 rear bumper reinforcement.

    2. Install the No. 2 height control hose to the cap grommet with the clamp.

  9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  10. PERFORM INITIALIZATION


    1. Perform initialization Click here.

  11. INSPECT FOR AIR LEAK


    1. Inspect for air leaks Click here.

  12. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE COVER PROTECTOR


    1. A01NKOK

      Install the No. 1 luggage compartment side cover protector with the 2 clips.

    2. Install the 2 bolts and 2 screws.

  13. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX


    1. A01NIBL

      Install the rear deck floor box with the 3 clips.
