HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR REMOVAL

Note

Before removal, make sure to disable vehicle height control by pressing the height control OFF switch and confirming that the height control OFF indication is displayed on the meter.


  1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

    Note

    After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

  2. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX


    1. A01NIBL

      Remove the 3 clips and the rear deck floor box.

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE COVER PROTECTOR


    1. A01NKOK

      Remove the 2 bolts and 2 screws.

    2. Remove the 2 clips and No. 1 luggage compartment side cover protector.

  5. REMOVE CAP GROMMET


    1. Disconnect the clamp and hose from the cap grommet.

    2. A01NJQA

      Remove the cap grommet from the No. 1 rear bumper reinforcement.

  6. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR WITH BRACKET


    1. A01NM08

      Remove the holder and disconnect the air tube from the height control way.

    2. A01NI4U

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    3. A01NJSS

      Disengage the wire harness clamp from the bracket.

    4. A01NMZ5

      Remove the 4 bolts and height control compressor with bracket.

  7. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR BRACKET


    1. A01NMOT

      Disengage the wire harness clamp.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts, nut and height control compressor bracket from the body.

  8. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL FILTER


    1. A01NIJ7

      Separate the 2 clips and 2 height control hoses.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and height control filter.

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 HEIGHT CONTROL HOSE

      Remove the clip and No. 1 height control hose.

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE


    1. A01NIQF

      Remove the holder.

    2. Separate the 3 clamps and disconnect the No. 2 height control tube from the height control compressor assembly.

  11. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL VALVE HARNESS ASSEMBLY


    1. A01NIRC

      Disconnect the connector and disengage the 3 clamps from the bracket.

    2. Detach the connector's claw and height control valve harness assembly.

  12. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01NLBQ

      Remove the 3 bolts, 3 bushings and bracket from the compressor.
