EGR COOLER INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL EGR COOLER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01NIUO

      Install a new gasket and the EGR cooler assembly with the 4 nuts.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

    2. Connect the 2 water hoses.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 EGR PIPE


    1. A01NI88

      Install 2 new gaskets and the No. 2 EGR pipe with the 2 nuts and 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY

    NOTICE
    DO NOT apply oil to the bolts listed below:
    Tightening Part
    Surge Tank and Intake Manifold
    No. 1 Surge Tank Stay and Surge Tank
    Throttle Body Bracket and Surge Tank

    1. A01NLFD

      Install 3 new air surge tank to intake manifold gaskets to the intake air surge tank.

      *1 Bolt
      *2 Nut

      Using a 5 mm hexagon socket wrench, install the intake air surge tank assembly with the 4 bolts and 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      Bolt
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }
      Nut
      16 N*m  { 163 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf }
    3. A01NJD4

      Install the throttle body bracket and No. 1 surge tank stay with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }
    4. A01NM5B

      Connect the connector to the manifold absolute pressure sensor.

    5. A01NMP3

      Connect the ventilation hose.

    6. A01NI9Z

      Install the 5 clamps and connect the main wire to the body.

    7. A01NLNY

      Connect the 2 water by-pass hoses to the throttle body assembly.

    8. A01NLHF

      Connect the fuel vapor feed hose.

    9. A01NL6X

      Connect the throttle body assembly connector and wire harness clamp to the throttle body assembly.
