DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored if the parking assist ECU receives a signal via CAN communication from the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly that indicates a power supply system problem.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note:
  • When "System initializing" is displayed on the multi-display assembly after the auxiliary battery terminal disconnected, correct the steering angle neutral point (Click here).

  • Depending on the parts that are replaced or operations that are performed during vehicle inspection or maintenance, calibration of other systems as well as the parking assist monitor system may be needed (Click here).

  • Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SPIRAL CABLE WITH SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY POWER SUPPLY AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the F43 spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F43-2 (ESS) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      F43-5 (IG) - F43-2 (ESS) Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      F43-6 (BAT) - F43-2 (ESS) Power switch off 11 to 14 V
