INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE)


    1. Disconnect the G35 multi-media module receiver assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below .

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G35-12 (GND1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G35-17 (+B1) - G35-12 (GND1) Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      G35-16 (ACC1) - G35-12 (GND1) Power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      G35-15 (IG) - G35-12 (GND1) Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
