DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) cannot be customized via the navigation system vehicle customization screen.

The certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) controls the entry and start system (for Entry Function) related items that are customizable via the multi-display screen.

  • When replacing the multi-media module receiver assembly or telematics transceiver, perform vehicle contract setting (w/ Telematics Transceiver) Click here.

  • When replacing the multi-media module receiver assembly, perform vehicle contract setting (w/o Telematics Transceiver) Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Use the intelligent tester to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally Click here.

      OK
      CAN communication DTCs are not output.

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  2. CHECK ENTRY AND START SYSTEM (for Entry Function)


    1. Check if the entry and start system (for Entry Function) is malfunctioning Click here.

      Tech Tips

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the entry and start system (for Entry Function).

      OK
      No malfunctions are present in the entry and start system (for Entry Function).

  3. CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS


    1. Display the "Door Lock Settings" screen.

    2. Make a note of the customizable items for each certification ECU related system.

      1. To match-up the items on the multi-display with the items on the intelligent tester, check the customize parameters list for the entry and start system (for Entry Function) related items that can be customized via the multi-display screen Click here.

    3. Using the intelligent tester, confirm that it is possible to change the settings of the entry and start system (for Entry Function) related customize parameters that are shown as customizable via the multi-display screen.
