INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (VIDEO (VIDEO ADAPTER) TERMINAL - MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER SUB-ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the U7 video (video adapter) terminal connector.

    2. Disconnect the P70 multi-display controller sub-assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P70-6 (R+) - U7-1 (VAR+) Always Below 1 Ω
      P70-7 (L+) - U7-2 (VAL+) Always Below 1 Ω
      P70-8 (SGN3) - U7-3 (VA-) Always Below 1 Ω
      P70-9 (SGN6) - U7-7 (SG) Always Below 1 Ω
      P70-10 (ADPI) - U7-8 (ADPG) Always Below 1 Ω
      P70-6 (R+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      P70-7 (L+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      P70-8 (SGN3) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      P70-9 (SGN6) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      P70-10 (ADPI) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
