INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER SUB-ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE)


    1. Disconnect the G54 multi-display controller sub-assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G54-14 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      G54-15 (GND5) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G54-1 (+B) - G54-14 (GND) Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      G54-6 (+B2) - G54-14 (GND) Power switch off 11 to 14 V
