DESCRIPTION

This is the display signal circuit from the video (video adapter) terminal to the multi-display controller sub-assembly.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (VIDEO (VIDEO ADAPTER) TERMINAL - MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER SUB-ASSEMBLY)

   
   

   1. Disconnect the U7 video (video adapter) terminal connector.

   2. Disconnect the P70 multi-display controller sub-assembly connector.

   3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition P70-2 (VD) - U7-5 (VV+) Always Below 1 Ω P70-3 (VG) - U7-6 (VV-) Always Below 1 Ω P70-10 (ADPI) - U7-8 (ADPG) Always Below 1 Ω P70-2 (VD) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher P70-3 (VG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher P70-10 (ADPI) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher P70-1 (SGN5) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
