POWER STEERING ECU INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. A01NL8M

      Install the relay block sub-assembly.

    2. A01NJ7O

      Connect the 3 connectors to the power steering ECU assembly.

    3. A01NJCV

      Securely connect the connector to the power steering ECU assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Return the lock lever to its original position to connect the connector, and then securely push in the lock of the lock lever as shown in the illustration.

    4. A01NJAD

      Install the power steering ECU assembly with the 3 nuts and clamp.

      Torque:
      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. A01NJ9F

      Install the relay block sub-assembly.

    2. A01NKCI

      Securely connect the connector to the power steering ECU assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Return the lock lever to its original position to connect the connector, and then securely push in the lock of the lock lever as shown in the illustration .

    3. A01NMYS

      Connect the 3 connectors to the power steering ECU assembly.

    4. A01NKB1

      Install the power steering ECU assembly with the 2 nuts and clamp.

      Torque:
      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL CONNECTOR HOLDER (for RHD)


    1. A01NMWG

      Install the connector holder with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. Connect the connectors to the back of the instrument panel junction block assembly.

    2. A01NLC5

      Install the instrument panel junction block assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect the connectors to the instrument panel junction block assembly.

  5. INSTALL AFS ECU (for LHD)
