      Tech Tips

The video waveform changes according to the image sent by the rear television camera assembly.

      1. Waveform 1

        Item Content
        Terminal No. (Symbol) F111-15 (CV+) - F111-37 (CGND)
        Tool Setting 200 mV/DIV., 50 μsec./DIV.
        Condition
        • Waveform A: Power switch on (IG), shift lever in R and camera lens is not covered, displaying an image.

        • Waveform B: Power switch on (IG), shift lever in R and camera lens is covered, blacking out the screen.

  2. REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the Y14 rear television camera assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      Y14-4 (CB+) - Body ground B - G Power source Power switch on (IG), shift lever in R 5.8 to 7.0 V
    3. Reconnect the Y14 rear television camera assembly connector.

      Tech Tips

A waterproof connector is used for the rear television camera assembly. Therefore, inspect the waveform at the parking assist ECU y with the connector connected. If the result is not as specified, the rear television camera assembly may have a malfunction.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
