PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Main Body / Active Test.

    5. Check that the relay operates.

    INSPECT INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. A019NRTE01

      Remove the instrument panel junction block assembly.

    2. Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2K-1.

    3. Connect a negative (-) lead from the battery to terminal A-14.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      2F-39 - Battery negative Always 11 to 14 V
      2H-5 - Battery negative Always 11 to 14 V

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BATTERY - INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY)


    1. A019PJ0E01

      Disconnect the 2K instrument panel junction block assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      2K-1 - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
