DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) detects a malfunction in the turn signal flasher relay circuit.

Note

Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.


    NEXT
  2. CHECK DTC


    1. Operate the turn signal switch to cause the left and right turn signal lights to blink for 3 seconds or more.

    2. Check for DTCs Click here.

      OK
      DTC B124E is not output.

  3. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menu items: Body / Main Body / Data List.

    5. Read the display on the intelligent tester.

      Tech Tips

      *1: Measure the resistance by connecting the positive (+) tester probe to terminal F14-5 (HZCT) and the negative (-) tester probe to terminal F44-3 (LL) or F44-2 (LR).

      *2: Measure the resistance by connecting the positive (+) tester probe to terminal F44-3 (LL) or F44-2 (LR) and the negative (-) tester probe to terminal F14-5 (HZCT). Use this value only as a reference, as the resistance varies depending on the measurement instrument.
